Behold my friends, fire away!
take up a charge,
make your own way
Leave your trail
for another soul
someday like you
seeking his goal.

'Its an enjoyable ride', the angels' said.. I'll be fine! coz I'm prepared

Feeling the wind on our face
makes us wonder of God's grace
to sooth our sorrows with gracious ease
All the opportunities we need to seize
and make our lives worth living
coz one day we'll be questioned of our givings.

The key is to let them know that we'll be there
despite the obstacles giving love and care

The funny side of TyPoGrApHy :D

So here's what happened. In one of our Graphic Design class assignments we had to design compositions using typefaces or letter forms. After some serious work (:P)..lets just say after a few compositions, I decided to make a character. So this little happy guy is made up of 4 letters:

g: to make the face..the loop is cropped off

m: for the eyes

i: the dot below

o: inside the smile

I take my 4 so called 'serious' compositions and this to class next day. Well guess wat!?.. Jenny (my teacher) chooses this composition to talk about. I tell her I tried a happy face with a few letters. I get compliments for choosing the corner, leaving out the negative space.. blah blah..

She points at the o and asks "What is This?"

O..MY..GOD!! like really!? wasn't it obvious!? I mean DUH! its a tOOth!! My class had a good laugh.. lets just say a lot of toothy smiles in the room :D

While printing this out, the guyz at Staples were smiling. One of them asked me whether I was a dentist.

it could also be a tongue you know :P

Have you ever felt like giving a ransom note to your boss/ school professor or worst ur parents!? well we had an assignment @ school about designing a ransom note.I came up with this one based on my experience (and for future use :P) of wanting to say this to sooo many people! well now I can! (:

IF BUILDINGS WOULD TALK….

hey ppl.. ever imagined what would happen if buildings could talk..!wad do u think they'd say?.. each one wid its own story.. wonder what they'd tell us..
for instance.. the workshop(the usual college hang out) walls could tell us all the gossip thru the years!!..and the BMC walls of all the under the table dealings!!
or may be it'll all jus add to the noise pollution..:P
wad bout the heritage buildings?.. we'd never need boring history lessons....:) hehe

nyways.. this is something I wrote when I was in bhuj!!..Jus cudnt see all those beautiful buildings.. dilapidated due to the earthquake.... and no1 doin nythin bout it!!...

IF BUILDINGS WOULD TALK….
If buildings would talk.. about their design,
wonder if they’d ever wanted to change a line.

may be they aren’t happy with the entire facade,
coz the architect just did it because it was easy on CAD

If buildings would talk ,they’d tell me the zhols during construction...,
and how it all jus added to the corruption!

Towers complaining about the pollution in the city,
“We cant breathe” , they say with the environment so dirty!!

Chocked with plaster and outlets only for ACs,
The buildings are suffocated..,please let in some breeze…

The heritage buildings have a different story,
Some boasting of royalties.., Basking in glory

Some others, still manage to stand,
Crying out for help , but no helping hand.

If these buildings could talk, I’d never need a guide from now,
the walls would tell me on what they were built and how!

They would tell me history,they would tell me tales,
And why their once rich coloured walls have now turned pale..!

If buildings would talk, people would realize..
Architecture goes beyond space and time…

If buildings would talk …..I don’t think it would matter,
Coz here people don’t have even a ear for each other!

I wish they’d just listen to what the buildings had to say,
Coz Architecture speaks anyways!!
